a year agoFood was amazing, specially the K-fried chicken 🤌 atmosphere at 7pm on Wednesday was still a good time! However, when we ask for dessert menu, she gave it to us but didnt came back after 40mins to ask what we want to order so we just pay and left. Must have forgetten us 😌

8 months agoHaving frequented the Beach Bar many times we had been longing to dine at the next door Bluebiyou restaurant. We were saving this for a special occasion, which was this weekend. (Which I wrote on the notes when booking. But this was never acknowledged!) Unfortunately our expectations were obviously too high as our experience was incredibly underwhelming with the service being subpar and food mediocre. The view from our table by the window was superb but that is where the greatness ended. The wait staff seemed disinterested and definitely not engaged. No coming by to see how our meals were or topping up wine glasses, or would you like any other drinks - nothing. We had to ask for water twice and then when ordering a bottle of wine at a restaurant with these prices the wine is often poured for you not just plonked on the table. We shared the $75 Surf & Turf Platter which was so disappointingly dry and overcooked (see pic) it was just dismal. The Pork & Scallops were good and the Mussels ok but the Zucchini Linguine was swimming in oil. For a special occasion this is not the place to dine even though the prices would signal 4-5 star dining - you will have a 2 star experience. We won’t be back. Absolutely no comparison to nearby Lantern restaurant with 5 star service and food every time.
