Bupa Eventhorpe Care Home

The staff at Eventhorpe are professional, warm and caring. Their level of communication was outstanding. Dad spent the last 8 days of his life in the care of Eventhorpe (hospital wing). We could not have asked for a more loving experience for our precious dad. ALL the staff from the manager, clinical nurse managers, nurses, healthcare assistants, activities coordinators, property managers, and housekeeping staff showed our entire family kindness and compassion. They listened to our whānau and went out of their way to honour our tikanga and respect our cultural practices. The level of nursing care was exceptional and in Dad's last hours and the days that followed, the staff continued to check in on us and ensure that we were supported not because they had to but because they cared. We will be forever grateful. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa.

Eventhorpe Care Home comes highly recommended for their exceptional care and support. The staff treated my mother with much respect, dignity, and compassion, ensuring she felt comfortable and well cared for throughout her short time there. A special thank you to Nisha, the clinical coordinator, whose nursing expertise and knowledge were invaluable, and to Jibeesh, the manager, whose professionalism and warm welcome made us feel truly at ease. We are incredibly grateful to ALL the staff for everything they did.

What a blessing Eventhorpe was for us when looking for palliative care for our adult daughter. We looked at several other homes first, but as soon as we stepped inside it felt busy, light, warm, inviting, friendly and caring. The Manager Jibeesh was just outstanding in the professional way he dealt with us, and nothing was an issue. Every single staff member was incredible, and a special mention to Nisha for absolutely everything. They treated our family member with such kindness, always preserving her dignity as she slipped away. We couldn't fault them on anything, and only highly recommend Eventhorpe as the home of choice for others.

Dad has come here and we have had nothing but a great experience and feel confident Dad is being looked after. Dad himself says he would recommend Bupa Eventhorpe. We recently made drop in visits to 10 Hamilton care homes, to find care for a 90 yo man. Our final visit was to Eventhorpe Bupa, Hamilton on Easter Saturday. We were immediately welcomed by Stephanie, shown around, with events and activities described, questions answered, and processes explained. With what turns out to be incredible good luck he has found a placement there. I cannot speak highly enough of Jibeesh Chacko RN, the Care Home manager and all staff. Every one of them looks you in the eye, smiles and greets you, and within a day knew who we were. All are interactive with the residents, and there is plenty of activity happening. As a former nurse manager in the community, I was looking for what I expected a care home would be, and eventually found it here. I highly recommend Eventhorpe as a care provider. Lynn
