2 months agoBeen meaning to post time got away from me. My aunt was here for 3 years. It became my second home. I cannot rave enough about the high standards of care attention cleanliness and kindness and love shown towards my aunt and all residents. I say love because you become part of a family. My aunt was shown respect and love at all times till the end from all care givers. Ian and Anthony were running it during my Aunts stay what gems they were. They kept us updated and informed on my aunts care. I cannot recommend this place enough. Mandy

4 years agoHugh Green care home was a very short chapter in my fathers life (8 months) but during Dad’s time in Shannon the staff were amazing. The team always showed empathy and dignity to my father and I know there was some very trying times but they never failed to reassure and make him feel safe. When we despaired they reasured, when we were sad they made us smile. The team accepted and welcomed my mother on her daily visits, they never made her feel in the way - thank you. A huge fear for us as a family was Dad would forever want to leave - never did this happen - he always called Huge Green Care Home the resort 🌴- who would want to leave a resort. If you are in the situation we never thought we would be in please don’t look pass Huge Green Care Home. From the laundry lady, the garden man, caregivers, nurses & management team - it’s the friendly faces and banter that make it more bearable to leaved your loved one behind in their care. We will be forever thankful to Huge Green Care Home.

2 years agoOur father , Dougie, was in care with these wonderful people for nearly 5 yrs before old age and ilhealth took him from us . Now our mother, Elizabeth, is in care here. we didn't hesitate to plave her in the care of the great staff at Bupa HUGH GREEN

7 years agoAbsolutely disgusted in the lack of care given to my mother. Not enough staff around ever. She was constantly drugged up and zombified to make their shifts easier, locked into the dining room table for hours on end, never included in activities or left to crawl on the floor in her room. Countless falls, no communication to me as POA from staff or management. Wouldn't trust them with my cat let alone a loved one. Beware be very aware to stay away
