6 months agoIf you are looking for a place for your loved one to stay in. We aa a whanau would recommend Bupa Rossendale. From Management to their teams are amazing. Our Mother has been in their care for three years. The food is wonderful and well balanced. The activities are eventful with entertainment and outings being provided for them on a regularly. Rooms are lovely and kept beautifully clean. Clothes are laundered every day. Carers tend to their personal needs etc. Nursing team ensure that residents are well looked after medically and keep family updated with their cares. 3 months agoIt is always blissful to see your love one but in my most recent visits, I have noticed how unclean the equipments has been for over a month & smelly, seeing loved one has not been cleaned after meals.

a year agoWe could not have chosen a lovelier place to put my husband for his ongoing dementia care. I have nothing but praise for the staff who carry out their duties with kindness and professionalism in often very challenging circumstances. In previous years I have been a visitor to others and I really like the upgrade of the environment - much warmer and welcoming. I have recommended Rosendale to others because of the lovely environment. Thanks go to the amazing management and staff who provide loving care to my husband.

a year agoWhat a transformation!!! When I mentioned my husband was going into Rossendale I heard very negative comments. They were from years gone by and they were so wrong. Rossendale is a special place for my husband with dementia. He has been a resident in the psycho-geriatric unit for over 6 months. The staff are amazing and speak and treat my husband and I with respect and care. Richard’s individual medical needs are met efficiently and effectively within this lovely supportive environment. We feel very fortunate that Richard is in Rossendale.

5 years agoMy dad was left tied to a chair and even though he requested multiple times for water, staff would walk straight past him. We visited at 8.30 one night to find my dad still in the chair and had not been moved, he was exhausted and wanted to go to bed but there was not enough staff to do the bed time routine. We ended up putting him to bed ourselves at 9.30. When he got sick they told us it would be best we left him to die. We moved him to another home, where was treated and he made a good recovery due to their care. He gained quality of life for a further two and half years. Time to enjoy his grandchildren. I will never forget his smile when held his grand daughter. I would not recommend this facility, if you have choice.
