a week agoAbsolutely awesome facility. We stayed at the Christchurch Cancer Centre for 5 nights whilst undergoing treatment at Christchurch Public Hospital. This is a state of the art place not yet 2 yrs old. Each room is perfectly laid out with tea and coffee and fridge. A great modern bathroom as well. Also provided is a modern kitchen with ovens, microwaves, toasters, cooktops etc etc. Also included is a pantry an fridge with your room number so you can cook your own meals. Also provided is a free shuttle to and from the hospital for treatment. Unbelievably this facility relies on donations and bequests to function, no Govt funding!

2 months agoWhat a wonderful place to stay when you are away from home with Cancer. I’ve stayed twice now and found it wonderful and relaxing beautiful appointed rooms and spacious kitchen and lounge areas. Shuttles running every half an hour to treatments is all there in one fabulous package it’s easy to actually forget why you are there. This is a gem in the Cancer society’s crown.

9 months agoThe Cancer Society in Papanui is amazing, providing free accomodation for people who live 100+ kms away as well as many wrap-around services for people dealing with cancer. Awesome facilities and staff.

a year agoAlways caring staff to greet you. I had a lymphoedema appointment so waited in the lovely waiting room till my appointment. I also attend the gym classes for recovering from cancer treatment clients. Lovely supportive group
