3 months agoRecently had dealings with Helen Baldwin and Chetna in the Council Tax department to close an account and get the final statement issued as a matter of urgency. Both ladies could not have been more Customer Friendly, empathetic and helpful. Having read some of the other reviews left I would like to re-assure Customers of Canterbury City Council that these ladies made them a pleasure to deal with on what was not a straight forward case. Well done and keep up the good works ladies!

2 months agoNot happy at all. Waited over 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Three main roads closed and council tax increased over 150% from £382 to £867 per month !!!! What are you doing about it

6 months agoYou ring CCC and a lovey-dovey recorded voice message plays, and then when reception finally answers, you can't get to talk to a person in your chosen department, they fob you off saying that someone will phone back within 48hrs, But they don't, and no matter how many times you phone, they still don't return your call. I've even been to the offices, which consist of ONE person on reception, with a security guard standing over her!? And despite all this they expect everyone to remain polite. The entire council is an embarrassing shambles.

6 months agoI keep receiving phone calls from this council looking for somebody called Leah to do with her housing situation. MAJOR breach of GDPR leaving voicemails with sensitive information in. I am not Leah, nor do I live anywhere near this area or ever have done. I have called over 5 times to ask for my details to be removed and I keep receiving calls and voicemails. Staff clearly cannot track down this person or the colleague that is looking for Leah. Serious need for GDPR training within this council as my data is being used and Leahs data is being shared with me via voicemail absolutely appalling

9 months agoToo quick to send accounts to bailiffs without actually speaking to you and when the year isnt even finished!!. Won't acknowledge complaints and their customer service agents leave alot to be desired. Given that we're forced into paying council tax and our money is literally thrown down a black hole you would think they would have better people skills and communication. It's the 21st century, send an email!!!!
