a year agoI feel so grateful that this cathedral is my home church. The architecture is stunning, and the statues are beautiful. Father Jojo and Father Neil have been life changing for me, and it’s such a treat to have the Bishop visit on such a regular basis. This is a special place indeed, with the presence of reverence for God tangible.

7 years agoThis is a wonderful Cathedral! Beautiful interior and old historical landmark for the diocese. People here are warm and friendly. Very active church with breskfast facilitated and made by the Knights of Columbus on the first or second Sunday of the month. Confession on Saturday in mornings until 11am and evening mass at 5pm. No mass is usually held on mondays because this is the day the priest does not work. Fr.Neil is very charismatic and wholesome with weekly acronyms to teach Catholic beliefs. The Bishop that is here is named Gregory who does mass on major holidays or events. Very unique place that is close to the heart of the people of Nelson, and surrounding Kootenay towns.
