CHT Royal Oak Care Home

My father lived there. Environment and facilities are incredible! Such a welcoming community. Staff are so lovely and caring, and always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate their residents. Plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. Indoor and outdoor areas are spot on. My father very much enjoyed a daily stroll outside. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

The staff and Nicki the manager went above and beyond to make my mother welcome and were very helpful and supportive helping me see the need to get epoa activated. Nicki was happy to print of documents and ring the government agencies on my behalf.There's a homely atmosphere the residents are interacting with staff and the meals are appetizing .

My mum currently living there. The layout is user friendly with nice rooms looking out onto their own private patch of garden. Most of the staff are great and treat mum with respect. Meals are not always to her liking although she is putting on weight! They come up with new initiatives with which to keep the residents busy and happy. Of course it is impossible for each activity to appeal to them all.

They looked after our Mum but they also looked after us. It is scary having to place a elderly relative in care but she was warm and safe and staff were kind, the food was plentiful and the place was really clean. I have a lot of thanks for the staff and management team.

My mum been well look after, staff and residents are friendly. Strong recommend.
