a year agoI've only given this one star because you have to. This service isn't worth one star. My experience - they try to fit things into a computer and don't really care about the clients. I found this service most unhelpful and don't recommend it to anyone really needing help. They need to make their service more people friendly. I left today's meeting in an extremely depressed state. I found this service made me very angry about life and all I want is positiveness, not this. No more of these services for me. I'll stick with the other help I'm getting, so as a result I've exited this service

a year agoall you need to know about how much they care about the mentally ill is they put 4 very vulnerable people in a house owned by Krishna Rani Saha. feel free to google her. they would not hear any complaints about her and put it all down to their mental health. meanwhile Krishna Rani Saha violated there privacy and told their neighbours exaggerated lies about their mental health. scum of the earth organisation taking government money to put people in harms way.

3 years agoWas discharged whilst still trying to resolve a significant issue following years of abuse because the worker decided I had been on the books too long. She used personal knowledge of my vulnerabilities to make sure I couldn't fight the discharge and I am now in a considerably worse state than when they began working with me. They should not be funded by public money or used by dhb's.

3 years agoWell I have been referred to ComCare through my doctors as I have had psycosis and still struggle with day to day things. But have not heard anything back from them for probably 3 months now even after I have emailed them multiple times after I had to fix some stuff with my referral they knew about. Seems like they just don't want to deal with me. So far trying to get help is hard as anything. No wonder Nz health system is failing so many. I will be going back to my docters and try to get help somewhere else. As these guys obviously don't care as their name suggests.

5 years agoFrom a neighbors perspective of this organization. One of of their clients have stolen from me and two others have purposely damaged our brand new shared driveway with their cars doing burnouts, and as someone who owns his own property, Its disheartening to watch what I have worked for get wrecked and disappear. Comcare have since made an effort on who they move in now, Still doesn't make up for the the fact, myself personally is down at lest two thousand dollars from the one thief alone.
