2 months agoAn open and wide park with amazing view: Sky Tower, Harbour Bridge, green and water. Walking tracks, playground, toilet and changing room, tables and chairs. We visited on a sunny weekday but the car park was already full at 10am.

a month agoGrew up going to Coyle Park as a child...had large family gatherings on the park. It's awesome how people have worked to make it a playground for children..a beautiful walking track..(that needs to be a wider path). Maori carvings are a Must at places around Aotearoa to tell the story of the area. Best place to go swimming in the Western Auckland area ( when the tide is in)..Golden sand (until the tide goes out)..Very safe for children to swim. Please don't think out the trees any farther..I remember the beautiful trees surrounding the park..I was surprised at how many aren't there anymore. Understand it's great scenery but please always replace those beautiful old trees especially with our Native ones. Love Coyle Park ..so many wonderful memories here..hope families go on to make many more!
