9 years agoMy son started here 2 years ago and has absolutely thrived in this little treasure of a creche! The well qualified teaching staff are very highly skilled and attentive with the children. They always seem to know what is going on with each family, and are proactive in meeting individual child's needs; encouraging and expanding their particular interests. The culture here is very loving, caring and respectful, and the atmosphere is always surprisingly calm and happy for a space full of small children! It's definitely a family vibe! Having a creche that is administrated by a voluntary parent committee is really cool as it encourages increased involvement and investment from the community and means the teaches have more time on the floor with the kids, instead of always being in the office doing paper work! I also really enjoy my parent help mornings when I get to kick back and play with the kids, get to know everyone and see my child revel in his 'happy place'. I really couldn't recommend Crossways more, it's been a wonderful experience being part of the family, for myself and my son.

2 years agoWe love this Creche! Our girls have flourished since they started here. The teachers are loving and great at cultivating their curiosity. My kids are excited to come to school and love telling us about their day. I also really enjoy the community feel of the center.

9 years agoSo glad we stumbled across Crossways Community Creche. It's been a perfect fit for our son and family. We love the intimate nature created by the relative smallness of the creche, the high quality teachers, the outstanding adult to child ratio (6 adults to 18 kids on the days my son attended last year). It feels like each child matters and little goes unnoticed during the creche day. It has definitely been a very happy place for my son and I've always felt completely at peace leaving him at Crossways knowing he is in the best hands.

9 years agoCrossways Community Creche is a special place to send your child. Parent run, not for profit and community oriented, the center has a warm and homely feel and is conveniently located right in town. The teachers are top notch and care for the children with kindness and respect. They are engaged and interested and always creating inspiring opportunities for the children to explore and create . Crossways was the only place i brought my son that he loved from the first day and was always happy to stay and play! After 2 years we are truly sad to leave. We both made good friends and my son really thrived in the fun, free and nurturing atmosphere. I only wish we had found it sooner! Open to children walking - 5 years.

9 years agoAfter a year of sending our daughter to Crossways Community Creche we can truly say that this is a special place. The teachers are passionate, dedicated to nurturing and respecting each child and coupled with high teacher to child ratios they actually have the time and space to teach and expand the minds of the kids. The building feels spacious and teachers have spent a lot of time creating intimate learning spaces and beautiful wall displays. The outdoor play area is small but extremely well thought out, providing a sense of adventure and rhythm each day with a vege garden, sand pit, and a fort. Children also get to regularly visit Innermost Gardens, a community garden nearby in the town belt.
