Eliza’s Garden Cottage

Not only was this a gorgeous setting and beautiful cottage, Wendy was an incredible host. In a difficult emergency family situation, Wendy allowed our family of 6 to book a short notice stay in this home. Within a few short hours, Wendy had organised for treats to be bought (fresh bread made, fresh eggs, milk, fruit and flowers in all the vases) and the extra bed to be made up. She didn't need to accommodate us but due to our family circumstance, Wendy showed great compassion and empathy in our time of need, without her we would have quite literally been homeless. The home itself is immaculate. Sitting on a beautiful vineyard and divine garden, Eliza's Garden Cottage is idyllic. The outlook over the vineyard and mountains is something from a postcard. The home was exceptionally clean and inviting with all the facilities we required to be comfortable. The full kitchen, fireplace, gardens and bathroom all suited our needs perfectly. This place is highly recommended if you want a real NZ experience!

This cottage and it’s surroundings are glorious. The grounds, garden, and the house are beautiful. Our host Wendy delivered fresh bread and the local paper everyday. The house was so well equipped and comfortable. We didn’t want to leave!

Such a wonderful place, our best holidays are spent here!
