9 months agoIn regards to CSC and Metro Bus - completely incompetent and try to lay the blame squarely at MSD. A computer system that can not tell if the CSC is valid or tell the customer if the new card is in the system. not one person from the customer help desk at the bus exchange, the email service or email from Environment Canterbury can you tell you if the new card is loaded or worse still with the card attached to the letter from September cant check or load it into the system because it says a card is loaded -and advise just to wait. The CSC does not show up on the customer profile - so where is it actually stored? Who has access to it? And why is a simple check method unable to be used, instead of telling the customer to wait. How difficult can it be to have a customer with card at a human point of contact to have the card checked and if the card is not the right one on the system to upload the new one as sighted by the human point of customer contact - answer Impossible to do. 20th Nov2024, email to say my concession card cannot be verified and therefore has been removed. The level of incompetence from this organisation is incredible. Despite actually seeing both the card and attached letter they are unable to confirm it in their computer system or even manually enter the details themselves because help desk staff do not have access to the system to do this. What a carry on. Where actually is the help to get this sorted.

2 years agoThis is about the process not the staff, but for the first guy So, my father died on 4/7/22. I looked after him for 8 months (I moved back from Aussie to look after him) Now I get a letter saying that my father overpaid (Healthier Homes Canterbury) I stupidly responded to this email. they asked for 5. Provide either a letter from a lawyer, letter of administration, copy of the will, or copy of probate. (steps 1-4 I met) copied from the email I supplied a copy of the will But nope they won't accept that now All they want me to do is pay $300 to get a letter from my lawyer, so I can get a $150 Credit (I can provide emails of this) But good news they have offered to contact my lawyer on my behalf, but I still have to pay I provided all your “legal team” that they wanted on day one, but suddenly they wanted more (are you just wanting to keep the money) because they could have said this on day one???? The people I have spoken to have been great (but for the first guy that insulted my profession) As I asked “It really is a shame that you make it so hard to get a refund after a family member has died, but I’m not surprised to be honest. “ Why don’t they just say, “we want to keep the money, or we are going to make it so expensive to get it back”? It would be so much easier. Well I'm going to send this to "Fair Go" See what happens UPDATE: after I got a response from EC, 2 days later I got a bill for my Father, but good news it as per letter "Annual Charge included in current rates bill $111.11 So let's get this right they don't believe the will .. but believe they can charge my dead Father or me Gratz EC So now I got the message "The scheme is now closed to new applications. Following an independent review, and discussion with the Commerce Commission, we have decided that the most appropriate action is to refund all interest paid by borrowers in the scheme from the date they joined until 30 June 2023." It doesn't matter that my Father has died, they are still going to charge myself ... NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS and for your info the response I got form EC they NEVER got in contact with me. AVOID EC AT ALL COSTS So :Kia ora Jason, Thank you for the review. We understand your frustration and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. We are committed to resolving this matter with you, and we are looking into options. The team at Environment Canterbury. So they "understand" my Father's Death, I wish I could

3 years agoThere's a video online from the 4th of May of a man coming into the building exercising his rights and he was physically accosted and treated aggressively by a member of your staff. Awful behaviour and doesn't reflect well on you guys as an organisation.
