Fairview Care

I feel truly fortunate to have volunteered at Fairview Care. Over six months, I gained valuable knowledge and had many meaningful and joyful experiences. Working with Ellen and Meimei to prepare daily activities and birthday surprises for the residents was especially rewarding — their creativity and care were inspiring, and the residents’ smiles made everything worthwhile. I also participated in other events, such as those involving local kindergartens, and although my contribution was small, it helped me begin to understand the aged care sector. The residents were always kind, and I cherish the warm memories we shared — some even kissed me goodbye and gave me small gifts, which I still keep. What impressed me most is that Fairview Care not only provides excellent care for residents but also supports its staff and volunteers like family. I received help with personal challenges and was taught many useful things by the wonderful people there. One unforgettable moment was being invited by Frances to a staff-only party — though I was shy and didn’t dance much, it was still a lovely and uplifting experience. Looking back, even though I’ve worked in other places since, Fairview Care remains the place that touched me the most and left the deepest impression.

6 out of 5 Stars! I can't speak highly enough of the team at Fairview Care. The help, understanding and empathy they showed me from my very first interaction when I was trying to find somewhere for Mum to live on short notice was invaluable. The respect and care they showed Mum from the day she moved in has been such a relief. Their communication and support for both my mother and I have been outstanding every step of the way. If I have any questions or if there's something I need for Mum, I know I can ask and I can rely on them. There's (what looks like) a lot of coordinating of external services for Mum's rehab and care, but the whole team make it feel like it's no effort at all. The facility is clean and light and is well maintained. Everyone's encouraged to join in the many activities. Mum was reluctant to start with but with the help of the friendly staff she now has a group of friends that get together regularly for meals, to socialise and play games. To the Fairview Care management, clinical staff, caregivers and everyone who interacts with Mum - you have my sincere thanks.

I am servicing this client for more than 5 years. Never encountered a staff who is not polite and professional. I wanna give commendations with the following staff who always brighten my time each fortnightly visits as follows: 1.The managers Mishel Gilmore and Frances. 2.The receptionist , Aileen Romero 3.The staff such as Ellen Romero and the Peruvian health care assistant. Their tremendous personality and work ethics add my happiness when I service their sanitary unit products.They all deserve 5 stars 🌟

I volunteered at Fairview for 4 days with the help of my school, just for a bit of exposure to see how nursing for the elderly works. I came inside feeling so nervous and lost. That feeling quickly washed away as I was introduced to such wonderful and hospitable nurses. I felt as though I'm watching a big family enjoy the company of each other as they address the residents as if they were their parents. Calling them "mama" and "papa" and asking, "How are you today?" with a bright smile that can easily lighten up anyone's day. If you are doubtful about Fairview, well, fear not, because in Fairview, you are as important and valued as everyone else. You will enter a healthy, understanding, hard-working, committed, and  a loving family. During the whole duration of my volunteering, I have learned a lot. One that struck me the most is that life doesn't end when you're 60, 89, 92, or even 104; life ends when you stop believing in yourself. So dance along to jazzy music, sing along to cheesy songs, play catch and throw, try new things, do board games, play sword fighting with pool noodles, bond over the simple things in life, and don't be afraid to start anew and find love again because life is not a challenge; it is a journey, and here in Fairview, life is never ending.

During my 5 week of clinical placement in fair view care home, I demonstrated a commendable level of engagement and eagerness to learn.this facility help to me participate in excellent nursing care.clinical manager and all other staff are very supportive and providing proper Guidness to attain my goal..
