2 months agoAlways a delightful store to wander around in. They have a fine selection of wine, good quality meat, pre packaged meals and soups made by their chefs, wonderful fruit and vegetables. Products supermarkets don't stock, but you will pay more here.

4 years agoFarro is definitely establish as high class supermarket. When you enter into the shop, the fruits and vegetables look absolute A grade. Well and neatly display. I went in to sample some ready made cooked foods. Fish smoke pie is my favourite. Love to shop there.

6 years agoFarro has the freshest and best quality veges, and at times it's cheaper than the supermarket. They stock many specialist products like duck and steamed buns..... The wine selection is very good, and I prefer their rose selection to supermarkets. The store has a farmers market, community feel. They offer fresh rolls, salads and coffee. I only buy deli meats from here as the quality is better than supermarket brands. Staff are friendly and helpful.

6 months agoI’ve been shopping at Farro for a number of years, and it’s always been a problem, but just seems to be getting worse - with sparrow birds everywhere, they are mostly in the fresh bread section, any fresh produce that isn’t directly in the fridge/cooled area always has a number of fruit flies, and today just normal flies also, I went to grab a handful of lemons, but they were covered in flies. It’s only a matter of time before there are rats. The place just feels unhygienic now. You visit farro over the other major chains to get a better experience, and to select a higher quality of produce, but you would never see a single fly, bug or bird in one of the other supermarkets.
