4 months agoLovely cafe in Grafton. Friendly staff. Awesome portion sizes, crumbed mushrooms were delicious! Can understand why the cafe is called Fluff as the toasted bread is def fluffy & is so pleasant to devour! The house made sodas are perfect, just the right amount of flavour (feijoa & apple pulp with a hint of grapefruit) & fizz. Highly recommend this cute cafe.

5 months agoso good! i usually dont write reviews but this one deserved an input. i ordered iced oat latte and their pesto mushroom sando. honestly, first time in a while that i was more than satisfied with an order. idk about the rest of the menu but if the food and drink are THIS good, the rest are probably as good or better. the coffee is giving! i go to cafes a lot and order the same coffee for comparison and this is one of my favourites. if you don’t like strong coffee, you won’t have the same opinion as me. i rarely order vegan too but the mushroom slaps! you just have to taste it (im bad with words, it just slaps). service was nice too and they have decent number of seats. deffo worth a try! thanks to the staff and the cook, so chef’s kiss

2 months agoThe food and drinks were amazing. We stopped here as our first stop after 30 hours of flying and layovers and it was a great way to start the trip, service was great as well, hardly waited at all for the food or drinks. My only regret is that I didn't try more dishes

a month agoThis place is so cute and very instagrammable, with friendly and quick staff service. Was trying to squeeze in lunch during work hours, so I didn't try much of the menu like I'd typically do at a new place. Had the ebi prawn sando, which was delicious and came in a generous portion. However, the sauce in the sandwich was a little too much for my liking as I felt it overpowered the prawn patty. The milk bread was nice but it was a little toastier than expected so for both these reasons, I gave the food a rating of 4 stars. The combos on offer were a very good value, and there were some new offerings on the menu that I'd be keen to try next time.

3 weeks agoA Hidden Gem with Heart and Soul Walking into Fluffy Cafe felt like stepping into a charming fairytale a cozy, unpretentious space where warmth and nostalgia blend seamlessly. Run by a lovely Vietnamese couple, this café radiates genuine passion and dedication. The décor isn’t overly polished, but that’s its magic; it’s filled with subtle, whimsical touches that make you feel right at home. The food? Absolutely stellar. The “Chashu Egg Pork Sando”was a revelation the pork so tender it almost resembled duck, with melt-in-your-mouth texture and a perfectly runny egg tying it all together. The “Pork Skewer”was another standout, generous in portion and packed with flavor. While the “Special Beef Pho Bo leaned slightly sweet for our taste, it was still delicious and didn’t overshadow our overall delight. But what truly stole my heart was the lemon honey ginger drink. One sip transported me back to my childhood, to my grandmother’s kitchen, where she’d lovingly brew this remedy whenever I was sick. The balance of tangy lemon, soothing honey, and spicy ginger was stunning a perfect homage to tradition. Fluffy Cafe isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a story of love, family, and perseverance. You can feel the couple’s dedication in every bite and every detail. This café deserves all the support “a must-visit in Auckland” We’ll be back again and again!
