Four Square Port Chalmers stands out as a trusted convenience store in the heart of Port Chalmers, offering a surprisingly spacious selection that meets the needs of locals and visitors alike. Located within walking distance from the Port Chalmers Cruise Ship Terminal, it’s an ideal stop for cruise crews and travelers seeking quick snacks or essentials. Shoppers appreciate the well-curated aisles stocked with everything from fresh eggs to a dedicated alcohol section. While not the largest supermarket, it provides a thoughtful range of products at reasonable prices, making it a reliable choice for daily grocery needs. The friendly atmosphere and convenient location make it a standout destination in this charming seaside town.

4 weeks agoVery convenient and has a surprisingly good variety of items to choose from and is usually well stocked with friendly service. Just unfortunate how damn overpriced everything is in there to the point where it's sometimes genuinely cheaper to do my shopping at the dairy up the road.

a year agoFour Square Supermarket Supermarket Port Chamers Review on 152/2024 It is located within walking distance from the Port Chambers Cruise Ship Terminal, very convenient for crews and passengers to drop in to buy some snacks. In fact, many Asian crew members also come to buy instant noodles. It is not a very big supermarket, but more than sufficient to satisfy the needs of the local population. Pricewise is relatively higher than a big name supermarket chain. Right at the end of one side of the store is the section for alcohol and fresh eggs. Unlike Australia, caged chicken eggs are not available in New Zealand, therefore they are relatively more expensive.

4 months agohave been going here for awhile to get groceries etc.. today i payed for my things that included a water bottle, i paid, then after i walk out of the shop one of the younger boy workers run up to my daughter and say "you havent paid for the water." which I DID pay for, along with the other stuff i walk back inside and ask for a receipt which he had to get one of the ladys to do and then kept accusing my daughter of not paying for it, the lady got the receipt and showed him that it was payed for and that the water must of accidentally scanned.

2 years agoSurprisingly spacious supermarket for this small town. It has all the things you need and price is quite reasonable.
