Lovely spacious and clean store. Polite friendly staff. We time our trips so when we roll through its lunch time or close to it. You can always get fresh hot food, the chicken and chips is always a family favorite. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice spot to have a break on any journey AA+

A great place to pick up something for lunch on a roadtrip to Wellington. Lots of choice. The new premises is amazing. The staff are very friendly. A playground and park on the next corner is handy to have a picnic with the whanau, and get some energy out of the kids.

Good place to stop on a car journey. We arrived at 4.20pm and the sign on the coffee counter read closed at 3pm but while we were dejectedly choosing iced coffees from the chiller a staff member appeared and offered to make coffees. Served with questions about how we wanted them and a mini choc fish on top. A little grocery shopping while there is good too.

We went in to buy something for lunch, I had a yummy cheese and ham sandwich, my husband chose a pie and we bought some blueberry muffins all to eat later at the beach. Helpful friendly service and plenty of variety. The food was fresh and very good.

This place is the locals general store. Staff are always helpful, they have groceries, a bakery, a tuck shop with all sorts of options including coffee, chicken and chips, not forgetting Anderson's pies. There is wine and beer available, lotto, and they have a post shop. Prices are reasonable. Well worth a visit, stop for an ice cream, lollies, or a cake. 😊
