Located along Oruawhata Drive, this Government Gardens stands out as a beautifully maintained green space just a short walk from downtown Rotorua. Visitors delight in the vibrant summer flowers, scenic walking paths, and peaceful ponds that create a perfect setting for relaxation. The playground and bowling field add recreational options for all ages, making it a versatile destination for families and nature lovers alike. While the museum remains closed, the gardens themselves offer a colorful, inviting environment that showcases Rotorua’s natural beauty.
