Gracelands Care Centre

My elderly mother has been a resident with Graceland's for over a year and in this time she has had 2 birthdays, and more lockdowns than I can count, which has meant that the family has been unable to visit.... However, this has not been isolation for her. During this time she has been a member of a very caring bubble and ALL the staff and team members have been amazing. On her latest birthday even though in lockdown they ensured she had a perfect day and celebrated with other residents in the rest home, then went well above what was required and ensured that we all as a family shared the photos that had been taken. We are all spread over NZ and Australia and are grateful for the care and attention including regular updates in this trying time and relaxed in the knowledge that our mother is looked after in both a professional and caring environment.

My mother was admitted to gracelands after spending lockdown in hospital, the first day we all got our freedom. You all made her transition as easy as you could under trying circumstances. The care she received in her time there has been fantastic and as none of her family live in Hawke's bay the communication I have received has been great and very much appreciated. As her end of life grew closer the communication became even more frequent and very informative and the care she received in her final weeks was 2nd to none. A huge thank you to everyone who works there and Jo and Lance and Linda and all the other fabulous people who made it easy for not only mum but also her family. You all do a fantastic job. Thank you again.

My darling Mum was in long term care at Gracelands. She received such loving and professional care from caregivers, nursing staff, Dr Beachem and all staff associated with her care. She had many happy times there with friends and family visiting, doing activities, rides out in the van, time sitting in the garden, chatting to staff and forming friendships with other residents.

I went to visit my friend to see her new cottage beautiful home with all the mod cons you need beautiful

Just make sure you have written diwn your requests or it will be forgotten. There is only so much a caregiver can remember.
