Greater Wellington Regional Council, located at 100 Cuba Street in Te Aro, Wellington, combines functionality with a distinctive atmosphere that visitors often describe as reminiscent of a futuristic classic movie set. This point of interest is praised for its approachable and efficient staff, exemplified by the helpfulness of Mr. Cook, the engineering technical officer noted for his swift responses to enquiries. The council serves as both a government office and a resource library, making it a valuable hub for regional planning and community engagement.

2 years agoThe GWRC is abit of a joke really - corruption, turning a blind eye to permit breaches that affect peoples long term health, straight up lying to my face, playing power not replying to emails until the Ombudsman gets involved and more. This is a systemic issue with the GWRC and it comes from the top down starting with Nigel Corry. I've even had one of their agents, Chris Wright, threaten to boot my door in at 4am on harley davidsons with his friends because I brought up the issue of the permit breach in public.

5 years agoMr. Cook, the GWRC engineering technical officer is very friendly and helpful! I had an aerial photography enquiry and he responded very fast and efficiently. I can't find an online form to leave feedback so am doing it here - he is a real asset to the GWRC! :-)
