Habitat for Humanity Nelson on Tahunanui Drive is more than just a place to find affordable goods; it’s a community hub where customers enjoy friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Shoppers appreciate the wide range of products that support home ownership initiatives locally. After browsing, visitors can relax at The Nook Cafe, which now features outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot for a coffee break or a light meal. This combination of retail and hospitality makes it a beloved destination in Nelson.

5 months agoThe staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and really helped me out, when I needed a quiet room for work on short notice! Thank you so much!

3 years agoI have become their loyal customer since they opened their shop in Quarantine, nowadays, they were so fussy with the items people donated, my advise bring your donation to Recycle Centre, they accept everything with thankful and they are the cheapest recycle shop in Nelson, good price and good quality if you know how to find them. The Habitat becomes so commercial and profitable Company, charging too much. And the service I received is very average and rude enough for one staff. Not my favorite shop anymore. Their Habitat houses they sell do you think are the cheapest, it must be a joke, find other house if you can afford it, their price is same value like others plus you have to work voluntarily, not worth it, in my opinion.

3 years agoThe place to go for a wide range of goods at a good price that helps to get people into owning their own home so a win win situation plus there is The Nook Cafe so once you've had enough retail therapy you can get a coffee and a bite to eat and they now have outside seating and tables. So highly recommend to all
