Haere Mai/하레마이

One of my favorite Korean convenient stores, located in Wellington Central, pretty near other supermarkets such as New World, Countdown, and Oriental Pantry, making it easy to get all your groceries in one day. The store was smaller a few years ago but has now expanded into a large one with a huge variety of products. Full of everything from Korean/Asian kitchen items and cosmetics; to food, snacks, and drinks. You name it, they have it. They not only have Korean products but also products from other Asian countries such as China, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. The variety there is super impressive. The staff there are also very friendly and helpful every time I visit. Overall, this is a great spot for Asian food lovers. I recommend checking out frequently to keep up with all their new items and other deals.

This is my one stop Korean convenient store in Wellington. Heaps of variety and always greeted with a friendly service. Filled with household products, beauty items, frozen food, snacks and loaded with all types of drinks. Ample parking around the neighbouring streets and located in central Wellington which makes it easily accessible.

Please be careful with the pricing here. Disappointed as I've had multiple instances of being charged more (today it was double) of the price listed on the shelf. To add to that, the shop attendant doesn't provide receipts on purchases. I have also noticed that some products are being sold past expiry dates. Since not all labels are translated to English it can be hard to spot.

A wonderful place to get all your Asian groceries and satisfy your cravings for tasty Asian snacks! They have a wide variety of both common and obscure ingredients, including a frozen section and all manner of dried ingredients, whatever you need.

Has the best variety of Asian products out of all asian supermarkets I’ve been to in Wellington, you can also find kbeauty and skincare here. I bought some things to make kimchi and it turned out great!
