3 months agoBest opshop in Nelson. Been hunting through all the opshops to find any 'old-school' matchbox cars. Got distracted by the great book collection here, so I'll also be back for a few good titles I spotted. The young lass who served us was also really helpful and super friendly to my child, who's usually quite shy. Great opshop and supports a good cause

10 months agoFound two really lovely dresses for even better prices. It is a very well curated and organized store with incredible service. Thank you to the lady who served my friend and I, you were a gem.

2 years agoHeads up to check things over especially stuff in packaging . Bought something there (in packaging) just to get home and find it was tattered and in poor condition. Ended up having to bin it. Overall nice store layout , often nice stuff there, just rude and judgemental staff. If the staff were polite and friendly I'd shop there more often.

4 years agoRudest manager I've ever met. Went home to get some tools to see if a mechanized bed was working (the wiring had been cut). I only did this because two different staff members TOLD me to do this. Walked all the way home to come back to do it. Then the manager said no, I couldn't do it. "Health and safety". At one point, she said a licensed electrician could do it. When I took her up on it, she changed her mind again and said no. She's obviously just making up rules which don't exist. You could easily test the bed outside, etc. She's doing her worst/laziest and not trying to get results for the charity. The bed was priced for a mechanized bed, not a normal bed. Most expensive thing in the whole place. Of course you need to know if it works before you bought it! Start doing your job and start trying to make money for the charity instead of trying to do the least you can. Not to mention how your ruined my day and were even rude about it. You had the nerve to ask me about my profession??
