5 months agoRuns on a Sunday from 8:30 to 12:30. We went on a very hot and calm early autumn day. You can get crafts, food, vegetables, fruit, and garden plants. All of excellent quality. Probably one of the best, if not *the best*, of the farmer's markets around the country. Most vendors have eftpos, but it's wise to have cash. Dogs allowed, on a leash of course.

a month agoHAWKE'S BAY FARMERS' MARKET // Hastings 🍓 One of my absolute favourite Sunday rituals when I’m in Hawke’s Bay. I’m not a local but every time I visit Hastings, this is the one place I make sure to return to. Incredible local produce, artisan goods and a real sense of community. My go-to? The bacon & egg sandwich, unmatched! Fresh juices, handcrafted breads, and stalls bursting with everything from seasonal fruit to handmade treats. It’s a beautiful market to wander with whānau, with live music playing and plenty of picnic spots to sit, snack and soak it all in. A must-do for anyone visiting the region.

3 months agoAmong all the Sunday markets I’ve been to in New Zealand, this one was the best. It was late autumn—the smell of soil and trees, the whole mood was just perfect.

5 months agoReally nice place to go. Heaps of different sellers, lots of really nice food and drink. There were a few moderately long queues for coffee and bacon butties, but they were pretty quick. Prices were OK. Plenty of seating, a good amount of it in the shade. LOTS of people, but plenty of room, plenty of parking.
