a week agoWould be 5 stars BUTTT when leaving, a staff member was leaving at the same time they got into a black BMW with tinted windows and was driving behind me going down Papamoa. He was riding my rear bumper the whole time and driving like an absolute idiot! You shouldn’t be driving like that out of your work place as it makes the cafe look bad!

a week agoHenry and Ted is not what it used to be. Everyone in the group commented about inconsistant quality lately. We were a group of four. The menues were dirty. One person in our group were served their order after a considerable wait, then two others received their meals about 15 minutes later and the 4th 5 minutes after that. 1st person eventually started eating while the rest of us were still waiting, but by that time their meal was cold. Sloppy service with coffee spilt into the saucers. Teapot did not have a strainer with the tea leaves ending up in the cup. We sent it back. No apology or offer to rectify it. It was not busy when we were there, so no reason for slow service. The music is very loud, so it does not make it pleasant for conversation. The Italian toast and french toast were tasty. Overall not a place we can recommend or will return to.

a month agoLovely little café with great coffee and a relaxing vibe. The staff were super friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. Perfect spot for a quick catch-up or a quiet moment with a book. Highly recommend!
