2 weeks agoWhy has the Lake Road hospice shop changed their clothing displays. It used to be easy to shop for clothing as everything was displayed under sizes. I knew I could walk in and quickly browse my appropriate size rack. Now the clothing is displayed willy nilly and I haven't bought an item of clothing since. Who in their wisdom thought this was a good idea? Not the customers thats for sure!

2 months agoThe presentation of the store is lovely and there are some staff who have beautiful, warm personalities (Jackie is so lovely!) However, extremely overpriced for second hand goods and no room to negotiate on pricing. I Op shop a fair bit and one staff member, Sue, is extremlely rude. On numerous occasions I haven witnessed her being rude to customers and have experienced it myself too. If you dislike your job that much, please leave. People who are struggling will frequent Op Shops and to be greeted with hositlity and passive agressiveness while already struggling is not ok.

5 years agoWe went here yesterday and they have some awesome items but I would classify this more of an antique store than an opportunity shop. Great that it goes back to a good cause. They also have a huge warehouse which is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The staff there are very nice and assisting.

a month agoI'll never go here again - and neither will my sister. As avid opshoppers, there are very few we haven't been to. But this one has done unbelievably arrogant, rude staff in the upper part. They are horrendously overpriced - some is priced more expensively than where it can be bought new. And they seem to forget their stock is donated. As someone who has donated an entire ophop of quality stock to other opshops, let me tell you - Hospice in Frankton will never receive anything from me. Hospice itself does a fabulous job and I have donated directly. But that shop will get a wide berth from me from here on in.

6 years agoWhat a great place. Staff is always helpful, good quality goods at really bargain prices. The main shop is especially nice, always well laid out, very appealing. Be careful not to get carried away!
