Indian Char Bagh Garden is a captivating highlight nestled in Hamilton East, offering visitors a serene retreat filled with stunning flower gardens and exquisite architectural details. This garden enchants guests with its vibrant colors and carefully maintained blooms that create a wonderful sensory experience, including a fantastic array of delightful aromas upon entering the enclosed space. Visitors often feel transported to a different continent, thanks to the thematic coherence and meticulous craftsmanship that define this space.
Known as one of the most beautiful sections of the Hamilton Gardens, the garden’s vibrant flowers attract bees, but they peacefully remain among the blossoms, adding to the natural charm without disturbance. Additionally, the garden hosts various events and exhibitions throughout the year, making it a dynamic destination that evolves with the seasons. Whether you are looking for a peaceful stroll or an inspiring cultural experience, Indian Char Bagh Garden is a must-visit spot in Hamilton.

3 years agoYou need to go before 4.30 pm and with your vaccine pass. Delightful and pleasing to the eyes We visited the Indian Char Bagh after over 15 years. The gardens were well kept, colourful and worth visiting. The surprise was that the entry to these gardens (and all other covered gardens) closes at 4.30 pm even in summer when there is good daylight till past 9 pm. Unlike the open part of Hamilton Gardens, a vaccine pass is essential to enter the Indian and other covered gardens.

6 years agoPerhaps one of my favourite gardens at the Hamilton gardens. The flowers here are incredibly beautiful, full of vibrant colours. They tend to attract bees but they don't really bother you, they just stick to the flowers.
