I attended a Wellington Timebank pie competition & the launch of 'Quick Kai' tonight. A walk amongst the property has got my green fingers itching to do spring planting. Well done to all the gardening community who share, learn from & inspire each other.

Amazing community pesticide-free spot to get together, volunteer and learn from all these knowledgeable people. Just attended the "Edible Weeds" workshop there. Truly inspiring

Situated on the west side of Mount Victoria, this is a nice garden to spend an afternoon in enjoying the flora or just meditating on nature. It's close to the Mount Victoria neighborhood so access is not difficult. A nice find for someone like myself who visited Wellington for the first time and was looking for a,quiet spot away from the crowds.

While primarily a garden for growing vegetables and what have you, it is also an oasis on the edge of the city, away from all the hustle and bustle. Very little traffic noise penetrates the sanctum, although i did not visit at rush hour, but if you have a spare moment and require some solace, this just might be the place to go. By the way, one can hire the hall for functions.
