Kaibosh Food Rescue – Wellington is a standout establishment in Mount Cook, renowned for its effective and compassionate food rescue efforts. Operating from 11 Hopper Street, Kaibosh runs a super slick operation that diverts tonnes of surplus food from being wasted, working closely with local charities to spark joy in many lives. The team’s dedication is highlighted by heartfelt stories, such as Kate’s yearly tradition of making big batches of tomato relish for recovery care, demonstrating their deep connection to the community. This organization exemplifies sustainable food practices and community spirit, making it a crucial point of interest in Wellington.

a year agoAs a volunteer, I found the communication amongst the managers shocking. They didn't inform me that my shift was cancelled and I used a lot of my own money to show up for nothing. Toxic managing practices there but I liked all the other volunteers who gave me a hand.
