4 months agoI have always shopped Mitre 10 and until today had great service. Today I wanted information about wall lights - did you stock them ( answer " not sure they are a stock item, we would probably have to order them in") can you do that? (" that depends on whether our supplier has got them") can you find out for me (well I'd have to call them....."). What happened to " let me give them a quick call ". Obviously the person on your "service desk" either hasnt been trained in customer service or just didn't want to be there. I think from her whole attitude it was the latter.

a week agoUnfortunately another visit another experience of extremely poor customer service. When are Mitre 10 Gisborne going to give their people clear instructions on how to serve/assist the general public.Without those customers and a level of service sufficient to warrant the terminology customer service which unfortunately seems to continually appear to be lacking here at Mitre10 Gisborne.The result will be that your business will suffer. Which is a shame. There’s competition around. The restaurants good,that’s about it. Wow eight months later and decided to give it another shot. Belief restored! Trade section: First class service by team member Denver. Not only did he listen he demonstrated genuine care in finding me the perfect solution for a DIY project at home. Cheerful disposition,nothing was a problem. An absolute diamond employee. Give him a pay rise! First class service. Well done Denver. A returning customer with faith restored.

3 years agoA lazy sunday afternoon drive to town,we ended up Mitre 10,yeah nah not my preferred hardware store,however customer service good,ample parking,good location,some items a little pricey for me,easy to navigate,in a well set out store,otherwise fine.

7 months agoLove Mitre 10! Our local store is always tidy, well presented and always well stocked! The staff are friendly and helpful - I’ve found it to have the best range and variety of indoor plants here in Gisborne. The presentation of the plants alone is awesome - it gives jungle vibes for sure!! 🧡
