Moores Valley Nurseries

Got a dwarf apple tree from Moores Valley Nursery. The staff helped me to pick right one based on sweet flavour. Planting after 1st year it got only 3 apples and also got leaf curl. I went back and checked with them. They have given few tips on fungicide, insecticides, fertiliser and watering. Next year I have applied yates copper oxy chloride and mavrik after flowering/ before fruiting and fertilised every 2 months starting from spring. Now for 2nd year there are so many apples and healthy 🍃 . Got some photos. Next year will try thinning and pruning to get best out of it.

We bought a Apricot 'Sundrop' from there and it died after 2 months. We have been contacting Moores Valley Nurseries for a year now and they do not contact us back, they have really bad customer service and even when they do pick up the phone they then close it in our face. If I could give this place a rating out of five I'd give it a zero out of five but that's not possible when writing this review so one out of five will have to do for now. I do not recommend this place.

Great asset for Wainui and the greater Central Hutt. A nice place to visit and staff here are always friendly with expert advice on the ready!

Well worth a visit, vast range of plants at really good prices. Friendly staff.

Very pleased with all the trees we have bought from here. They are healthy, good size and do well. Great team to deal with, very helpful!
