3 weeks agoOn going harrsing by 1 person in your office and assist what ever that is were I've had stuff aqusies me off things following me and only talking to me and no ather person parking lot, i will cancel my medical treatment as i have been told to leave by your staff and police this is a fine way to treat a person who's been in crime that was violent assault and now struggle with mental health issues and homeless. Maybe next time you approach a person you should try changing your way of treating the person they may not understand your their to help.and im not happy about been filmed with out been asked and no clean sight the your been filmed i have a cop thanks. Love Napier and this is not how I expected to be treated

a year agoThe ONLY good thing that I've found about this council are Napier Assist and the people working in the contact centre. The people working the frontlines are awesome! I've lived in 3 towns now and Napier has the worst parking and most inefficient communication with its citizens by far. The parking around the CBD are majority 2 hour parks which is a big middle finger to all the retail workers who have to fight for the minimal all day parking parks during the workdays. And if they find a park they have to pay $9 a day. 5 days a week. That's $45 a week for parking. In this economy, no thank you. And all the leased parking provided by council is full and will have you on waiting lists for monthsssss. Why can't you have people pay $30 a week for a sticker to put on their car that lets them be able to park there car within certian areas? Just a thought. Their communication is terrible. On one occasion I've contacted them and had no response. I've also contacted them requesting to have them respond via email or phone number(BECAUSE THEY ASK HOW TO BEST CONTACT YOU) only to find they send me a letter. A physical letter in my letter box. But then they sent me the PDF file of the letter to my email after I enquired where my response was. So why couldn't they do that in the first place! I also find their advertisement of local activities going on is average at best and only long time locals know about annual events that run every year.

a year agoNapier City's streets, parks, and gardens are MUCH cleaner and better maintained than Hastings. The Hastings Council contracted out their maintenance services, and the quality has diminished. Auckland went the same way with contracting out years ago with the same terrible result as Hastings. Well done to Napier City Council for taking some pride in their city.

3 years agoReceived fantastic service today from a phone operator who was kind enough to put me in contact with an owner of a little dog that was wandering by itself in my neighborhood. Little dog was quickly reunited with her owner thanks to the actions of the NCC telephonist. A fantastic result thank you so much.
