5 months agoNelson city centre is particularly well looked after by the council and the local businesses. There are a wide array of shops, restaurants and services. Pedestrian areas are well laid out and there is a weekly market are. Of particular note are the hanging floral baskets which liven up the town centre's streets. Nelson is one of New Zealand's sunniest towns and in summer the town centre is a nice place to take a stroll.
