4 months agoStopped here twice on our west coast road trip. Store was super clean and well stocked, even the fruit and vegetables were stocked neatly. The staff were very friendly and super shout out to the young man named Ollie, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about products and helped me get items that were out of my reach

6 months agoI was going to ask to speak to the manager, to advise how impressed we were with this shop, the variety of stock, the good staff and general appreciation of it. But we didn't really have time, so hope this is read. We visited 4 times, 1st big shop, second top up, third one item only and fourth another smaller shop. We found the variety available (except when sold out of some items due to popularity :-/) to be very good. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful and recognised that we didn't know all the ins and outs, but went over and above to help us. Overall, very pleased to have been able to shop locally and get all we needed

5 months agoI would never normally rate a grocery store but we came here twice passing through on our road trip. Both times we were treated so well when checking out it made an impression!

6 months agoUsually have no issues and always great customer service from checkout operators. Today after finishing working my second job, I stopped into supermarket to get some cat meat and some cash out to pay my babysitter for having my 4yr old. I mistakenly went to the self checkout and only needed to get $30 cashout, I could only choose $20, or $40 (I will go to a normal checkout next time). So I got $40 out and thought it should be ok for me to ask to get one of the $20 broken up since I am a customer and spent money before getting cashout. I went to front desk? I assume I spoke with a manager as she was speaking with one of the co workers before I interacted with her. I was freeholding my purchases and asked nicely if I could get a $20 note broken up. Response was that their money machine was broken? Here im thinking it is so hard to go to the cash draw next to you to break up the note? I work in customer service aswell and would of taken the opportunity to go the extra mile for the customer, you know to give good customer service. So I went and waited in line at the lotto/cafe, holding all my things for another 10mins before I could be served as I clearly had to make another purchase just to break up my cash. While Im waiting in line I see the same employee that just told me she couldn't help me go and speak to that worker in the lotto/cafe I assume to also say no me to getting my cash broken up. Either way I felt like a imposter rather than a valued customer. I finally got my money broken up and my extra purchase of scratches in the end.. Hopefully I can win some of that extra spend back? Like I said, I will be going to a normal checkout next time, I seem to get better, more valued customer service that way.
