Click & Collect. 1. Great customer service when I rang & asked if it would be possible for my pickup time to be slightly extended. 2. I queried in-store re a product I had ordered wasn’t provided. A solution was offered which I happily accepted. Excellent customer service.

Always enjoy shopping here. However, it would be nice if there were more staff on to help shoppers Also, during promos like Easter, does the storefront have to be stocked entirely with sugary items? How about bringing a big barrel of carrots forward? :) It seems to be getting harder and harder for us parents who are trying to encourage our children to eat basic fruit and veggies when there's so much junk food front and center these days. Please help us!

They where really polite and beyond helpful when I went shopping today. They didn't have the meat I needed so the butcher I asked went it got it cut wrapped and priced for me immediately. Then at checkout I dropped my can it didn't spill but was dented they insisted on replacing it before I left even though it was my own clumsy fault and they weren't really obligated too. I dunno but Little things like that to me make a huge difference and shows how important customers leaving happy is really important to Broadway New world we'll done guys 👍👍🙂🙂

This used to be probably the best supermarket in Palmy, with a good range of products, when it was named Melodys. New owners have removed many of the ranges and replaced them with Pam’s products, which are usually OK, but not what I expect from a supermarket trying to be high quality. The worst case was when I went to buy eggs one day and there was exactly one brand, filling the shelves. They also unnecessarily rearranged the store, but I guess that’s typical of new owners. Their meat, fruit and veges were never really amazing and continue to be just average. We’ve switched supermarkets to Pak’n’save who surprisingly have better fresh product and meat.

I visited New World Broadway when I first moved to Palmerston North about two months ago. I ordered a scone and to my shock I discovered tiny gravel stones in my scone. I did take the gravel back a tiny bag and I was very disappointed to have had this experience especially from a New World. They said they were going to give me a refund plus a voucher for my experience. The total that I did receive was only $15 and that included the scone so roughly about $10 for the inconvenience. I did go back at a time when the bakery manager was there as I heard him being called from the speaker, however he did not come down to see me when I arrived at the store. Overall the staff were apologetic, but I do hope in future that future improvements are made to ensure this kind of thing does not happen again. I am contacting ministry of primary industries to ensure that.
