a week agoI haven't returned it because I can't. I purchased "Premium" beef mince that looked fresh. I thought it was weird the meat appeared to be squashed down in the tray. When I got home and went to use it, the same night, I noticed it had an off smell. I then noticed the middle was off, it was off colour and then there was a very thin layer of fresher mince on the top and the bottom. I checked the use by, still had 3 days left and I reluctantly cooked it. But I could smell it and it cooked weird. It tasted awful and I was revolted. This is the second or third time I have purchased mince from here and I've noticed it. I am going to check next time I'm there and if I see it again I will be taking photos and reporting it. No point actually complaining to them, they know EXACTLY what they're doing.

a month agoSo I have a mixed opinion on this store. Going in store is amazing 5*, I have no issues. My issue of why the review is 3* is the online team, I have had multiple instances where they have been difficult (not substituting items and saying it's not possible, lack of communication if there's difficulties around substitutions). In other stores I have been able to ask the item to be delivered and authorized the store to charge my card for the missing item and substitute (Hillcrest and Te Rapa) however the Glenview online manager stated they "won't do that". Tldr: I would be happy to go in store and shop again but with online services I would go elsewhere. Online: 1* In person: 5* Overall: 3*

2 months agoWhen buying hot food from the heated cabinet, you would think you have suitable bags, rather than thin brown paper bags. Asked the staff for a bag like iam buying hot chicken and potatoe & gravy. Na he said an carried to talk to his friend. Left it all there. Great customer service

3 months agoAWESOME staff especially Tania but sadly she is leaving, They NEED more staff like her she makes supermarket shopping a pleasant shop and the children love her - she should train new staff & give them a heads up on how to be a superwoman at a stressful check out - she handles the worst situations in the best way- witnessed it myself = A1 Lady = huge loss for NW Glenview :(
