a week agoOpen shop feels fresh and clean. Good choice of items. Unfortunately we had a horrible woman on the tills, the packer was lovely and kind, but sadly this didn't make up for the servers obnoxious attitude and how she kept throwing the items not giving a damn if things broke or not. I expect better service at a New World especially when we pay a premium for the products. I did complain to the manager but doubt it is going to make a difference. It makes me reluctant to go to this New World again.

a week agoWasn't impressed went there 8.45pm to pick up carpet steam cleaner as thought would save me getting it at 7am to clean carpets and return by 10am and was told I had to hire it for 24 hours rather than 4 hours! Not happy with poor service..I'm not one to go online and complain but again new world halswell has no email address or area to make a complaint

2 weeks agoThe New world SMEG deal is nothing but an absolute con, you finally save up enough stickers to set the product you want only to find out it’s all sold out. You are still advertising the so-called deal / rip off. You should be ashamed of yourselves!! I will definitely not any New world supermarket again and I am a person of my word, that’s one good thing about having autism, you keep your would. SHAM ON YOU NEW WORLD.

5 months agoA well-stocked, clean supermarket with lots of parking. In particular they have good fruit and veg- I often cannot get grapes in countdown, but they always have them here. They also stock fresh cream buns and cakes which you cannot buy in all supermarkets. Easy click and collect - they even bring it to your car and load it into the boot.

a month agoNew world overly expensive+++++ how can New World justify a bottle of wine which was $4 cheaper at the beginning of the week and $4 more. This is a common practice in what I have experienced. Can Halswell New World please explain such difference in prices.
