Fantastic Shopping Experience – Clean, Well-Stocked & Excellent Service! New World Te Rapa is hands down one of the best supermarkets in Hamilton! Every time I shop here, I’m impressed by the store’s cleanliness, organization, and the incredible variety of products available. Whether I’m doing my weekly grocery haul or just popping in for a few essentials, I always have a great experience. Store Layout & Cleanliness The store is always spotless, with wide, well-organized aisles that make it easy to navigate. Unlike some supermarkets where things feel crammed or cluttered, New World Te Rapa is spacious, well-lit, and inviting. Everything is clearly labeled, and the fresh produce, bakery, and deli sections are always neatly presented and fully stocked. You can tell they take pride in keeping the store in top condition. The bakery section shut at 6pm, hours before the rest of the store shut. So there was a cabinet full of birthday cakes, but they couldn't sell me one. Very disappointing. The rest of the store is great. Big, spacious, modern, clean, with a good range of goods in stock and various amenities. Plenty of parking outside and nicely located on Te Rapa Road.

So today I went in to Grab a couple of things thinking I would not require trolly or basket but turned out hands got full so I put the one Glass bottle in pocket and started heading to Pay for my items but got stopped by security told I have to leave building immediately did not want to hear any explanation from me talked in very aggressive tone told If do not leave I will be trespassed, I have never stolen in my life but today I was made a criminal and escorted out in public like one Do better New World te rapa I was a paying customer not anymore

Danushka was the perfect gentleman when my card declined last night. I was using the self checkout. Unfortunately someone has tried to use my card, so the bank put a block on it which I did not know. Danushka was very kind, and took me to another checkout, suggesting that it may have been the machine. Very professional and a lovely manner. Thank you Danushka.
