I joined NZHL in about 2005 under Pete O'Keefe and soon Julie Taylor became my administrator and I have to say what an awesome person she is. But first lets go back a bit, I was with another lender before 2005,(bank) and at the end of each pay fortnight I felt like a pauper, literally I had so little spending power it was tough. After joining NZHL all of a sudden, without getting a monster pay rise, I had freedom and spending ability with the same amount of salary and wages. Julie has advised me and helped me so well and I was able to go from a 'closed shop life' which really the only freedom was taking my kids hunting and we lived off the meat. To, over time I was able to go back Motorcycle road racing again and not only that, get my kids into it too. My kids are all grown up and I am now 65, a lovely wife, awesome property and still racing motorcycles Nationally and Internationally. And hunting of course.
