3 years agoIt was our great privilege to visit this unique place on the planet. To witness these spectacular royal albatross colony's in there natural environment up close and personal was simply amazing. This was enhanced by the passion the staff had for the area. I would also like to acknowledge Dominic our guide for his depth of knowledge and devotion to the albatross. Hopefully the efforts of people like him will help to perpetuate the species despite the appualing disregard of the fishing industry which we are told are the biggest threat to these magnificent creatures.
