2 weeks agoThe only supermarket in Richmond. No competition! Many specials that are not. Beware of numerous goods where it is cheaper to buy two of an item rather than a bigger version. Check the weight or ml of products to compare. Some cheaper brands are always on bottom shelves where you have to get down on hands and knees to see the prices.

a month agoTeam please do something about people who don’t have babies parking in moms and tots parks. Not ideal with a screaming 3 month old to have to walk miles in the pissing rain. It’s such a valuable initiative for mums it would be great to stay ontop of it :)

3 months agoHave been buying your instore pizzas for a number of years. The increase in price seems to come around rather quick from$11.95 a little while ago up till today's jaw dropping $18.99. That straw has broken this camels back. No more basic pizzas for us you just priced yourself out. Disappointed !!!!

3 weeks agoArrogant,Obnoxious, antagonistic female checkout operator at PAK'nSAVE Richmond! Me my friends and family purposely try to avoid her,However yesterday I had the misfortune of having to go through her checkout,I tentatively & regrettably starting putting my groceries up,as another guy put the divider up & only got a couple of items on the belt before she unleashed a verbal onslaught upon him,he was so embarrassed he apologized,I felt so sorry for him!Yet this was no surprise to me as I have witnessed her appalling customer service or rather lack of multiple times before. She could see I was extremely reluctant to be served by her & instantly charged me for a higher priced brand on 3 large items adding just shy of $30 to my bill which I instantly noticed upon reading my receipt instore by the customer service lady (whom was polite helpful & fast in her refunding response, however not quick enough for the said checkout female in her late 50's at a guess, she knew what she had done & came rushing over questioning the customer service lady whom reluctantly informed her she had overcharged me for 3 items of a far higher priced brand,She tried denial.. upon realizing this was futile she then changed tact & said"he must have told me it was the higher priced brand"I said"I said no such thing & she walked up on me glaring at me before storming off as I refused to engage with her, from the look on the customer service lady's face she was relieved to see the back of her as was I!(If you have seen this antagonist at work you will know who it is)Maybe a course in tactful communication or even Anger management will help this gaslighting individual..until then maybe PAK'nSAVE Richmond might keep her away from customers??If not I will be using the self check out or shop elsewhere as I have never witnessed such appalling behavior.

5 months agoWe just had a very unpleasant ending at PAK’n SAVE Richmond. We have been travelling around New Zealand for our honeymoon for the last 6 weeks and have predominately been shopping at Woolworths and New World. Today we decided to give PAK’n SAVE a go and had a pleasant experience initially however when we got to check out we had a staff member and someone she was training (both young ladies) ask for our IDs as we were buying groceries and 1 x 6 pack of beer. We provided our British driving license and ID document. We are 31 and 30 which our IDs showed but we were not told unless we showed our passports we could not purchase the beer. We had spent the morning hiking so did not have our passports on us. We understand that a passport is the primary legal ID needed for foreigners but given we are over 30 and definitely don’t look under 25 this is not great service. We have not been ID checked at any other supermarket or restaurant on our entire trip which is telling. We understand if there was a question with our age but given that our driving license had been seen, we should have been able to complete our shop. Based on this, we will not be shopping here in the future.
