Palmers Albany

This Palmers is so far the BEST among other chain stores. Every plant is very healthy and good looking you can tell the staff there must like plants and care about them a lot! Check my photos and you will know what I’m saying.

The coffee is always good and the food looks fabulous, tastes great and always arrives Pronto. Very little waiting time and I don’t believe we’ve ever waited longer than 5 minutes for a coffee even when very busy. Best service on the shore. I would highly recommend you visit.

We booked a table for 9 on Sunday at 1230pm. Part of the group arrived and asked about our table to be told we had no booking. And told abruptly we would have to find ourselves a table. After wondering around trying to find a table large enough we found our reserved table with our name on it. Clearly the woman couldn’t be bothered looking for our reservation so just told us we didn’t have one. We all ordered at the same time separately and our food came out altogether which was great. Unfortunately our drinks took much longer. One of the pots of tea was room temperature and after another 10 mins I had to go looking for our other drinks. My smashed avocado was disappointing, frozen avocado mushed up which wasn’t nice and had no flavour. Though some people at the table had bagels with fresh avocado. The garden centre itself is lovely with a great gift store.

Watch out for parking cameras. No fun getting a ticket after spending time in the cafe and looking around the shops. Would go elsewhere to catch up with friends... may be more suitable to those who like to walk or take public transport...

I recently visited Palmers Albany, and it was a delightful experience! From the moment I walked through the door, the whole place was alive and vibrant. The variety of plants available is impressive, with everything from colorful flowers to a wide range of succulents—it truly left me in awe.
