Raglan Rest Home and Hospital

My sister and I had a difficult decision made easy by placing our mum into the wonderful caring hands of The Nurse Manager Marie. The care and support my Mum has received has been wonderful. When I call the girls are always friendly and caring and nothing is to much bother. The place is beautiful and clean. A very big Thankyou to all the lovely staff at Raglan Rest Home

Doesn't have the trained staff to handle bariatric care. I could write a long post about how some staff just couldn't handle my brother and is ignorant. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place if your relative is on the bigger scale. So much wrong with that place but yet they sprinkle it with rainbows.

My experience at Raglan Trust Hospital was awesome. My dad was in there for respite care for his last days. Marie the new manager was really easy to talk to and really accomodating, she helped me understand different protocols and procedures once dad had passed. The staff were amazing with my dad, their gentle care and empathy was next to none, my dad was treated with dignity. I was always informed on what was happening with my dad and explained what was given to him etc, I cannot thank all the healthcare workers, all nursing staff and marie enough. Thank you

Lovely staff and view but Manager Cherry was one of the rudest people I have met. Her 'bedside' manner lacked compassion and empathy and THAT I discovered personally in a phone call. Her tone was demeaning, sarcastic, patronising and unhelpful. I certainly do hope she treats residents more respectful than the treatment I recieved from Cherry whilst making an enquiry about my mother who was staying there for respite.

Lovely Staff, amazing nurses and beautiful place including the residents!!
