Redroofs Lifecare

I am so so grateful to all the staff at Redroofs. From the lovely admin, the nurses and caregivers and the kind laundry and grounds staff, they all go out of their way to make my mum feel at home and happy. Jamie-Lee at the front desk has set up a Zoom call each week for us, taking a laptop into Mum's room so that we can chat, which makes it so much easier for us to stay connected and check in with each other. They have loads of fun activities, but no pressure to join them (but gentle encouragement ends in enjoyment). They treat each resident with such care and get to know their individual likes and dislikes. Mum is able to potter in the garden and have her own raised bed to care for. She can stay in her room and read and write if she wants, or go out into the common areas for a chat with other residents. Or play Housie to win chocolate :). One of her favourite activities is the musical performances that come each week, especially if they play songs from the past that can be sung along to. There are regular Dr check ups and any medication is administrated by the staff, keeping everything ticking along and stable. I have been so pleased with the easy and clear communication from medical and admin staff. Even though I am far away, I always feel like I know what is going on and a part of the Redroofs community. So very blessed that there was a room free for Mum to be able to enjoy and make her own.

Employees go above and beyond for the residents. Registered nurse, 24/7 and great menu. Only quality staff that are qualified and have the experience, patience and respect for the elderly are employed. Trustworthy place.

Amazing place! homely environment. Staff are friendly and caring. Multitude of activities for residents to get involved in, management helpful and kind. Can't stress enough what a wonderful place this is.
