My nana was previously in resthaven, she passed while I was attending her everyday their was a nurse on day was working on my Nana's wing, she verbally yelled at my nana etc.. made a complaint etc.. NOW my partners mother is in their, absolutely disgusted with what I've heard. Heard a voice recording of a night shift nurse yelling and making her apologize to her verbally abusing her. Half the staff their don't treat patients rightly and in my opinion with the rules they make up as they go eg: visiting hours (2hrs a day) restrictions on people, sad and disgusting a prison in my opinion. Wouldn't recommended this rest home let alone any other. Horrible how you're treated their. They make up lies when the patient trys to come home saying hospice won't help etc then excuse after excuse. Inhumane. Gross.
