a month agoA beautiful pillar of the wider community, safe and welcoming. A place where children are safe to explore in the cafe grounds and play area, where old friends meet and new ones are made. Since becoming parents we've particularly appreciated the Friday open mic nights and affordable, tasty, wholesome meals - continuing to demonstrate that coming together doesn't have to feel like hard work.

2 years agoFantastic café, my favourite for wonderful french inspired food, a beautiful setting both inside and out in the garden, and wonderful service. I recommend the gougere cheese muffins, absolutely heavenly as a light brunch. My friend had a couple of the toasted sandwiches and said they were delicious - there's a good range of menu or counter food. Lovely little play area for the kids too.

3 years agoI loved the food and the setting. The service was a bit average, but only because the staff member was young so it’s not so much her fault, just inexperience. I could also see the chef swearing at her and he looked really mad. That was a bit cringe to be honest. I just notice a lot, I don’t think all the customers would notice that. I took a star off because of these two things but was so impressed with the quality of the meal and I could tell the chef cared a lot about his product. That’s also why he was mad, because the staff member was not delivering good service to his standard. I will be back. The vege burgers were insane!!
