a month agoA great place to stay. The cabins were clean and well laid out for four people. The staff were friendly and dealt with any issues promptly. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Whakatane. Great location too. A lovely walk into the shopping and restaurant area of town.

4 months agoHad great customer service when booking with Riverside! They were really helpful & flexible with what our large group needed. The rooms were just what we needed & great value for money - staying in the tourist cabins & kitchen cabins. Good parking & clean facilities too. The location was walking distance to so much as well.

2 months agoGood size powered site. Quiet and peaceful stay, handy to visit family in town Shared toilets and shower good . Men's ablution block stank of stale urine. Definitely time for and upgrade there, and an opportunity to get rid of the old style urinals

4 months agoLovely walks right there. To the lett you can have the dog off lead and in the water. To the right is town, new world. There's a cute park just out the camp gate. The camp is reasonably priced, you can pay for 1 person (not min of 2 adults). In a tent it was too loud for me with the hum of traffic and some kind of factory/machinery. But that's just me loving quiet (or the sound of waves). Lovely lady at reception, most helpful. Tidy amenities. Thanks for letting me have my fur baby. Was her first tenting experience.
