This is a fantastic idea. Traveling around NZ for 1yr in our motorhome and we have seen some before but not on this scale and no fruit trees . There's around 48 fruit trees,, most laden with fruit . Seats to rest yourself and a playground handy for the little fellows .

Was part of the original planting party, but lost interest as the garden developed. Mainly due to the lack of planting planning. Now it's just a bunch of fruit trees surrounded by dead weeds. The claim "weeds feed bees" is utter nonsense. Flowers feed bees, dead weeds have no flowers = no bees. My garden is full of flowers, bugger all weeds and loads of bees. Show some understanding of what you are trying to acheive and we may come help.

Great local community garden which have now started a vege market with locally grown veges and the odd thing brought in. Lovely park area for the kids to play. They run working bees through the year and do plant swaps as well, love supporting local and community run programs.

Incredible place for community events and to spread out and enjoy the sunshine or a picnic 🧺 native trees and stewarded by the community and Michael who is incredibly passionate about growing food for our future generations and using food to bring people together. This is how a commons should work and feel in any city ✨
