This convenience store is a reliable spot for quick purchases and essentials. It’s clean, well-organized, and usually well-stocked with everyday items like milk, bread, snacks, drinks, and basic household goods. The staff are polite and helpful, and the service is generally quick and efficient. Prices are slightly higher than supermarkets, which is expected for a local dairy, but the convenience makes up for it. One suggestion would be to include a few healthier options — maybe some sushi or better-quality lunchbox quick adds for people on the go. That small change could make a big difference. Still, it’s a great local store that serves the community well — especially when you need something last-minute.

Ridiculously overpriced. I don’t understand what’s going though the minds of people who run shops like this - do they not realise that they’d sell more and make more money if they charged less? I’ve been in the bay of islands for a few weeks now and I’ve already seen multiple people walk in, look around, then leave this store. I’ve done the same, thinking I’d top up on some consumable thing, seen what they charge (often double the inflated supermarket prices), then left empty handed and a feeling of injustice. The owner of this place should be ashamed of themselves.

Card declined and I had to transfer money over. While I was doing this they changed the price of the product I was buying right in front me. Bit scummy, so I left.

Sorry to say the guy running the shop when I visited was sleazy and scammy. Asked personal and unnecessary questions while I was trying to grab items, then gave me a warm lolly from his pocket in lieu of 50 cents change. I was so grossed out I just left and binned the lolly. Don’t take your chances here, go to the Four Square down the road.

Got charged $22 for two cookie time ice creams. Four Square down the street had 2 for $10. Realised the ridiculous mark up way too late after I had paid.
